Psalm Photos – 133 – Unity

Psalm 133

How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity!

It is like the precious oil on the head, running down upon the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down over the collar of his robes.

It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion. For there the Lord ordained his blessing, life forevermore.

How do you take a picture of unity? What about oil running down a beard? Yes, there are some obvious things, but one that get to the meaning behind it? Well, my question was answered tonight – we had an incredible night tonight hearing about the mission experiences of our middle and high school students. We heard tremendous stories of life-changing weeks for our youth and the adults who went as well. The church and community came together for a tremendous meal and great time of sharing about the stories and about how God is at work. It was a time of refreshment, encouragement, challenge, and blessing. It truly was kindred – brothers and sisters – coming together in unity and feeling the blessings rain down.
