Mark 15 – Fallen Beauty

Saw this on my morning walk. This one brilliant orange and red leaf in the midst of the grey and brown. It was piled up at the curb waiting to be sucked up and ground down by the leaf pickup service where we live. This speaks to me of the stories of Mark 15 – the trial, the punishment, the crucifixion, the death of Jesus. One who died as he did…just is wrong. And there are so many more in history who have faced the same. So before we can get to resurrection, we must remember the fallen beauty of the Savior.
