Psalm 119 – Your Word

The whole of this Psalm is about God’s Word, but this is probably the most well known of all the many verses…verse 105

Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.

Psalm 119:105

Something I’ve been noticing a lot recently are things that stand out along hiking trails. A little sprout growing up illuminated by the filtered sunlight (which my Dad first thought was a cross planted there – pretty cool double image), a flower growing up amongst the gravel, or a ray of the sun shining down onto the path. All of these…lights. All of these speak to me of hope. All of these speak to me of needing to keep God’s Word central to my life and my steps and my path.
