Bible In a Year – Exodus 32-33 & Matthew 26-27 – Broken

The word that came to me over and over today was “broken”. The Exodus readings are devastating – God’s inexcusable anger at the people, Moses’ response and call for slaughter of his own people, Aaron’s lies, the peoples’ disobedience. Then in Matthew, a betrayal, an unjust arrest, denials, a suicide, and heartbreak. The readings today just feel broken.

Praying tonight for wholeness.
